A small, beautiful, feel-good apartment
For two people
With the purchase of this little holiday property in the “Residence de Pelikaan” apartment complex in November 2019, a long-cherished dream of ours became a reality. A deep and long-standing connection to the island of Texel found its expression in the fact that we wanted to have our own nest/getaway in this, our favourite place. Lots of planning and work went into it. The rooms were completely renovated and modernised and everything was furnished in such a way that we were able to feel at home there. Now we hope that our guests will do the same.

This stylish apartment is situated in a prime location on Texel – directly on the edge of the forest and less than 2 km from the sea and beach.
Comfort, well-being and aesthetics are close to our hearts and have played a major role in the apartment’s design.

Nordic Design
The nest’s furnishings are inspired and influenced by the minimalist, plain colour and shape concepts of the Nordic design style.

It was very important for us to equip the apartment with comfortable and cosy furniture in order to achieve the highest possible feel-good factor.

We like not only nature but art as well. ART MEETS NATURE is our furnishing philosophy. The TexelNest has been created with tasteful design, art objects and original paintings.

The apartment differs from typical holiday apartments on account of its detailed and creative solutions and features. Nevertheless, lots of things are practical, such as the blackboard in the kitchen or the photo wallpaper in the hallway.

Quality was an important aspect when fitting out the apartment with appliances: the washer-dryer, television, induction cooker and battery-powered vacuum cleaner etc. are great brand-name appliances.

It’s good to know that your travel destination, Texel, has such wonderful nature. The apartment’s location directly by the forest and close to the North Sea beaches makes it even more attractive.
